Dear Patients:

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from active practice, effective 6/30/2025. It has been a great pleasure providing for your health care needs for nearly 35 years, and it is not easy for me to give it up.

As of July 1, 2025, Dr. William Loveland will take over my practice. I am pleased that you have the opportunity to have him as your physician. Dr. Loveland has been a friend and physician partner for over 27 years and is the founder and owner of Summit Family Health. I am glad to leave my patients in his capable hands. With the help of his medical team at Summit, you may continue receiving the care you have come to expect from me. 

Coinciding with my retirement, Summit Family Health will no longer be participating in Medicare and Medicaid health plans. Our website contains updated information about this change.

I have valued our relationship greatly. Thank you for your loyalty and friendship over the years.
